I ordered these Demonia Sandals from ShoeFreaks.ca

and they sent me fake shoes.
They refuse to give me a full refund. You can only get a store credit or 25% off
your next purchase.
They said normally buyers pay for return shipping but they waived that
for me. After getting fake shoes and falling apart after 5 minutes of wear and after all the complaints and the email exchanges you think I am going to pay to send these back?!!
When I ordered these shoes I got a first time customer discount so I paid $17.18 CAD.
All I want is my money back. FULL REFUND of $17.18 CAD.
NOT A STORE CREDIT! AFTER ALL THIS WHO WANTS SHOES FROM THEM?!!
I ask for a store credit instead but I did not get $17.18 CAD!
I got $15.20! They kept the HST!

Hi. Thank you very much for responding quickly. Please make sure that the material is not made of the same "foam material". You can tell that it is a foam material-----spray coated with rubber /plastic like paint if you look inside the surface of the "star holes". The "star holes" inside's surface colour is uneven and it has a darker tone from the rest of the shoe. It is very obvious that it is a spray paint job because of this.
If the shoes are made of the same material please do not send the shoes. Do not waste shipping charges if they are going to fall apart anyway. I would consider a different pair in a sort of same style. Thanks again. |

To be honest, the pair is discounted so much as it is being discontinued. If you wish, I can just put a credit on your file. There must be a reason whey it was discontinued by the manufacture.

If that doesn't work, we can offer you a store credit. Please note, we usually need the damaged pair of shoes back so we can return to manufacture, but we have waived that for you. Let us know.

I did not get the tax back. I thought the meaning of full refund is getting everything back. After all the email exchanges and the pictures I took and the complaints I made? Wow, i feel like i got scammed. You sent me FAKE Demonia shoes. I paid what you priced on your web site. You waved the re shipping cost as if the shoes were worth it. They were basically garbage to you. And you were just trying to get rid of them. You knew they were bad. You knew they were discontinued. You knew you should not be selling them on your site. You know they will all fall apart and after all these exchange on emails you still sell them on your website. Just waiting for more victims to fall in and get stuck with either getting a store credit or spending more money. The worst part is you are Canadians with Canadian customers. You will be hearing from the Better Business Bureau. Customers are always right. I am only asking for my money back. Wow what kind of scam are you running? And this is coming from from your fellow Canadian.

Update
It is now 9PM....still June 30th Tue
I thought I would log in to my ShoeFreaks account and I could not log in. I tried about a dozen times. Then I tried to click a button for "Forget you password?" then it gave me some texts that said something like "if you have an account an email will be sent to you...."
After about a couple of minutes I tried to log in again and the web site let me!
What I am guessing is they deleted my account that was why I could not log in a dozen times and when I asked for my password they reactivated my account. Because if they deleted my account then I lost the money that was supposed to be a store credit and that is considered STEALING!
This is not the only exciting event that happened....I got my CANADIAN tax back! OMG I almost peed my mini skirt.
